Being Married

Ecclesiastes asks the question - ”How can two walk together unless they agree?” This is the basis of marriage. We must come into agreement for decisions that are made.

On Being Happy

Psalm 119 starts off with a promise that the person who lives according to God’s (Yahweh) instruction will be happy because his way will be blameless (verse 1).

The Psalmist pronounces his struggles to follow what God has commanded. See verse 4 - “You have commanded” and verse 5 “if only my ways were committed to keeping Your statutes”. It is a great point that he makes - being committed to following God’s ways. I look at this statement as an example of putting on snow skis or water skis. To have a successful event one must have his/her feet securely set in the skis. Once your feet are secure, the skier is guaranteed to keep you on the path. Now, in my example, I am not taking into consideration the person’s skills in skiing or the condition of the path. The point I want to make is this - In order for our lives to reflect the truths found in Scripture (being blameless, being happy, finding success, etc.) we must be committed to staying in the will of God. We must vow to stay “strapped” in.

Ps 119: 8 “I will keep your statutes…”

End Time Blues

Here are my findings from my study of Revelation and the End Times. I did a study ages ago that solidified my beliefs about the second coming and what God has in store for us all. So, I never really thought about posting something that requires placing my thoughts down on paper. I still believe it is not necessary, however, with the rise of the computer age and technology, I must as well.
